How we decide what appears on this site, and what we will not do for money.
How listings are rated
Editorial ratings are ours. Vendors cannot pay to raise a score, and a paid placement does not change a rating. Where we have a commercial relationship with a vendor, the page says so.
How submissions are reviewed
- Every submission is screened automatically for policy violations and content quality.
- A human editor then reads it. Nothing is published by automation alone.
- We reject thin content, undisclosed promotion and pieces written to place links.
- Non-native English is not a reason for rejection. Vagueness is.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction. Pricing and feature errors are the most common; we would rather be corrected than be stale.
