Common Masteriyo problems we fix
Masteriyo gives you a modern course builder quickly. Growing it into a business usually means integrations, custom features and design work.
Masteriyo webhooks (new enrollment, course completed, quiz completed and more) delivered to your CRM reliably, with retries and logging.
A small custom plugin with its own settings, built to survive Masteriyo updates.
Course, lesson and dashboard styling adjusted in your theme, keeping Masteriyo updatable.
Checkout, payment gateways and order status tested so every paid student is enrolled.
Query profiling, object caching and leaner pages for logged-in students.
Courses, lessons, quizzes and students migrated from or to another WordPress LMS or a hosted platform.
What our Masteriyo developers do
Outgoing and incoming webhooks connected to your CRM and tools.
Integrations built on the masteriyo/v1 REST API.
Separate, updatable plugins for what the settings cannot do.
Course, lesson and dashboard styling in your theme.
Checkout, gateways and enrolment kept in sync.
Faster course pages and student dashboards.
Staged updates, role reviews, a WAF and monitoring.
To or from Masteriyo with courses, quizzes and students.
Monthly updates, backups and a developer on call.
Code-level expertise
Masteriyo can send outgoing webhooks for events such as new enrollment, course completed, lesson completed and quiz completed, and exposes a REST API under masteriyo/v1. Webhooks are the cleanest way to connect it to other systems, as long as the receiving side is built properly.
This is the receiving end we deploy on your integration server.

| Approach | Best for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Outgoing webhooks | Sending enrolments, completions and quiz results to a CRM or data warehouse | The receiver must authenticate, deduplicate and store events |
| Incoming webhooks / REST API | Creating students or enrolling them from another system | Use a dedicated account with the minimum permissions |
| Custom plugin | Changing behaviour inside the LMS itself | Keep it separate from Masteriyo's own files so updates are safe |
Most academies need a mix: webhooks out to the CRM, a few API calls in from the checkout or HR system, and one small plugin for site-specific rules.
Whichever mix you choose, write down which system owns each piece of data. If the CRM owns contact details and Masteriyo owns progress, an integration should never overwrite one with the other, and support questions become much easier to answer.
An endpoint that accepts anything, or loses events when your CRM is down, will cause problems quietly.
In a separate plugin, never inside Masteriyo.
Capabilities, nonces, escaping and prepared queries prevent most plugin security issues.
A developer who knows other plugins can tell you when another LMS would need less custom work. See our WordPress LMS plugin comparison and WordPress LMS developers.
Small changes are billed hourly; integrations, custom features and migrations are usually fixed-price after we have seen the site. You get a written estimate after the free technical call.

Yes. We adjust course, lesson and dashboard styling in your theme while keeping the site updatable.
Yes. Masteriyo accepts incoming webhooks for actions such as creating a student and enrolling a user in a course, so a checkout, CRM or HR system can enrol people without manual work. We secure the endpoint, use a dedicated account with minimal permissions and log every call.
Yes. Courses, lessons, quizzes and students can usually be moved. What carries over depends on the source, which we confirm before quoting.
